Client rights
Your rights as a client of Absolute Choice Home Care, and how to raise a concern.
Every client of Absolute Choice Home Care LLC receives a written statement of their rights before services begin, as required by Indiana law. In summary, you have the right to:
- Be treated with dignity and respect, and to have your property treated with respect
- Be free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and mistreatment
- Know the services you will receive, who will provide them, and when
- Take part in planning your care, and to refuse any service
- Know the charges for services and be told at least 30 days before a price increase
- Confidentiality of your records
- Voice complaints without fear of retaliation or loss of services
- Be told how to reach the agency and how to reach the state
- Reasonable notice before services are reduced or ended
