What we provide
Services
We provide non-medical personal services in the home. We do not provide skilled nursing, therapy, or medical treatment — when a client needs those, we coordinate with the agency that does.
Personal care
Hands-on help with the parts of the day that have become hard to manage alone.
Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care, help moving safely around the home, and assistance with eating. Our attendants are trained and supervised, and every client has a written service plan that says exactly what will be done on each visit.
Typically includes
- Bathing and showering
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Safe transfers and walking assistance
- Help with eating
- Medication reminders
Companion and homemaker
Support that keeps a household running and a person connected.
Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands, and accompaniment to appointments — plus the ordinary company that keeps someone from spending the week alone.
Typically includes
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal planning and preparation
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Rides and company to appointments
- Conversation and activities
- Check-in visits
Respite care
Scheduled relief so the family caregiver can rest, work, or take care of themselves.
A trained caregiver takes over for a few hours, a full day, or on a recurring weekly schedule. Respite is covered under several Indiana waiver programs and is one of the most under-used benefits families are entitled to.
Typically includes
- A few hours or a full day
- Recurring weekly relief
- Short-notice coverage when we can
- Same caregiver wherever possible
- Covered under several waivers
How the first two weeks go
- You call or send a request. We ask what an ordinary day looks like and what has become hard.
- We visit. A manager comes to the home, at no cost, to see the space and meet everyone involved.
- We write the service plan. It lists every task, the schedule, and who is responsible. You approve it and keep a copy.
- Care starts. We introduce the caregiver in person rather than sending a stranger to the door.
