Absolute Choice Home Care is a licensed Indiana Personal Services Agency (License No. 26-020524-1). Personal care and companion/homemaker services are available now on a private-pay basis. Medicaid waiver, Structured Family Caregiving and managed-care funded services are pending state certification and are not yet available.
How it works
Everything we'll do, written down before we start
Every client has a written service plan that says what will be done on each visit, who will do it, and how often. You get a copy. It changes when your needs change.
Personal care
Hands-on help with the parts of the day that have become hard to manage alone.
Companion and homemaker
Support that keeps a household running and a person connected.
Respite care
Scheduled relief so the family caregiver can rest, work, or take care of themselves.
The question families ask first
Can I get paid to care for my own family member?
Often, yes. Indiana's Structured Family Caregiving benefit pays a family member or friend who lives with an eligible adult and provides their daily care. You do not need to be a nurse. You do not need prior experience.
Most families we talk to have been providing this care unpaid for years without knowing the benefit existed.
